There are thousands of thousands of natural remedies that state they can cure cancer. But none of them ever show any proof.

Yes. They don’t work though or everyone would use them and there wouldn’t be a problem. My son had advanced cancer and nearly everyone who used natural treatment also had advanced cancer . . all relapsed and most have since died. The problem with natural treatment is that there is ‘no scientific clinical evidence’ to back up claims .. so anyone can made a ‘fantastic’ claim and swear on a stack of bibles it is true . . but they can hardly ever provide conclusive ‘proof’ . . so most of it is ‘wishful’ thinking. I am sure you will get people on here who will swear by it . . but ask them to prove it first.
The difference between conventional and ‘natural’ or ‘alternative’ treatments is that conventional treatments have been tested and proven in double-blind clinical trials; no alternative treatment has been tested and proven in this way.
The difference between medical doctors and alternative practitioners is that medical doctors are honest enough not to claim they can cure cancer, while many alternative practitioners claim they can.
Wherever there’s cancer there’s an unscrupulous charlatan eager to exploit people’s desperation by taking their cash in exchange for ineffective, unproven and occasionally dangerous ‘cures’.
If you are interested in alternatives I’d suggest you do two things:
Be very wary of unsubstantiated testimonials – you have no way of knowing if the person ever had cancer in the first place, much less that they are ‘cured’.
and
If any particular alternative or natural remedy interests you, do a search on http://www.quackwatch.com/ for some facts before investing money, hope and – most dangerous of all – time in something that isn’t going to work and will delay treatment.
You probably will get answers from people recommending various treatments, but almost without exception they will be people who have never had, studied or been close to cancer.
There are alternative treatments to chemo. However, nothing has been proven for a cancer fighting drug except for chemo. I have known 6 people with cancer; my aunt, 4 friends, and a neighbor. Five of them lived and are cancer free and all had chemo. The neighbor, who died, was very old and did not quit smoking even after being diagnosed.
I went the conventional route of chemo. I had aggressive chemo for my lung cancer but it did nothing to help me. I guess I am not a good candidate for the chemo, I was removed from treatment since it wasn’t helping. My prognosis in Dec. 06 was only a few months left to live. I started researching and doing self treatment immediately and well, to my oncs surprise I am still alive and doing relatively well. My tumor has stabilized and has not grown since chemo was done. There is so much out there that you really have to be careful not to fall victim to claims of curing cancers. There is no cure, but give the body the right ammo to at least stabilize can certainly buy some time.
You should check out Klamath Blue Green Algae, I would try to get into all of the studies and benefits but you would benefit more from just going there yourself and checking it out. Read some of the testimonials and test results, and decide for yourself if you want to try it or not.
